The Cast List  and the Rehearsal Schedule  are now available.

I wanted to add my thanks to all of the help given to make STAGE DOOR such a success. I have received nothing but glowing praise for the show. There were many parents who felt this was the best show we have done in a long time. Needless to say, our students continue to set the high standard that makes Theatre Centreville such a success. Your support of of all our students during the entire rehearsal & performance process is greatly appreciated.

Of course, nothing would get accomplished without the “behind the scenes” work. For this I would truly like to thank the parents who sold concessions, ran errands, bought food, prepared food, took pictures, contacted newspapers, collected costumes and a host of other things that go unnoticed during the run of a show. Your commitment allowed the students to focus on what they do best (ENTERTAIN US).

I also need to thank Mr. Clingman and Mr. Larson for their tireless during tech week. Their efforts were instrumental in the building of the set of STAGE DOOR. Their work with the students was rewarding for all involved. In fact all our booster moms and dads did a wonderful job with everything for the show!  I am truly blessed to work with such supportive parents and students.

It is now on to the ALICE IN WONDERLAND. Thank you for another wonderful year of support for all of the students at Centreville High School. I wish everyone a relaxing, peaceful and wonderful spring break to rest and relax before we do our final show of the season.

At the risk of leaving anyone out, I’d like to highlight the efforts of a number of people, without whom this entire project would have been very difficult (if not impossible!). Extra special thanks and appreciation go to:

• The cast and crew of Stage Door for entertaining us while showcasing their wonderful talents.
• Mark Rogers, for beautifully directing such a large cast and delivering a terrific show. Mark’s hours and hours of hard work and dedication truly showed on the stage. We are lucky to have him guiding our students.
• Diane Belden and Sandy Clingman, for getting us started.
• Our lobby decorators/table workers/ticket sellers – these ladies did it all! Thank yous don’t cover it, but thanks anyway to Sandy Clingman, Denise Tillema, Karen Sancho-Bonet, Toni Strauch, Fran Dwornik, Debbie Jackson, June Gonzalez, Mary Ann Lyons, Claire Scerra, Bernadette Stratton, Stephanie Nasta, Ana Larson, Maria Monzon, Terri Assell, Becky Millis, Marla Seeman, Denise Reynolds, Deb Collins, and all the moms, dads, brothers, and sisters who helped in immeasurable ways.
• June Gonzalez and Melissa Michael, for copying and delivering all those programs.
• Linda Blake, Rebecca Blake, Emily McLenigan, and Montana Smith, for folding and stapling many, many programs.
• The Tech Day volunteers from the Clingman family, the Nasta family,  the Larson family, and the CVHS Technical Theatre students.
• All the families who provided food and drinks for Tech Day and our Rehearsal Dinner. Your donations were much appreciated by our tired and hungry laborers and actors.
• Our Tech Class student ushers and lobby assistants, for lots and lots of help getting ready for the shows each night.
• Our Drama Mama alum and Theatre C’ville alum – Linda Peterson, Patti Kelly, Chris Starr, Jess Starr, Christine Tillema, Victor Trussell, and Will Stratton – for having our backs and for helping us out when we really needed it.
• The Collins Family, for hosting a wonderful cast party for our wonderful cast and crew.
• The Drama Boosters Exec Board, for their hard work and tireless devotion to Theatre C’ville.
• All the Drama Boosters supporters listed in the Stage Door program, for their generosity and considerable support.
• Our program advertisers, whose financial support helps us to support Theatre C’ville from a material perspective.
• Our generous and supportive audience, who enjoyed and applauded the talents and efforts of our Theatre C’ville students.

To anyone I may have inadvertently missed, I apologize. Please know that even if my memory is flawed, your time and talent are so very appreciated.

And so we move on! We’re all set to begin work on our next main stage show, Alice in Wonderland. I know Mr. Hudson has lots of great ideas, and I’m sure we can provide lots of help to make it all work. I really hope to see all of you (and many others) as we continue to support our terrific Theatre kids. It’s a lot of fun and so, so rewarding. Please join us!
