Michael Hudson

Mike Hudson has been a part of Centreville High School since 1990. He currently lives in Manassas, Va. His time at CVHS has included teaching Theater 1, Technical Theatre 1, 2, 3, and 4, Film Study, Speech, Television Production and English. The eleven years prior to his time at Centreville were spent teaching in private boarding schools. Mr. Hudson is currently a member of the board and serves as President of The Virginia Theater Association until November 2010. Prior to this he served as the Chair of the Secondary Program of The Virginia Theater Association for six years and Festival Director for four years. In his time away from the Theatre Program at CVHS he enjoys selling and collecting antiques, restoring older houses, gardening, classic films, video production and digital editing.

Mr. Rogers
Mr. Rogers has spent the last 11 years teaching Drama at Centreville High School. Before coming to Centreville, Mr. Rogers worked as a director, teacher and actor across the United States. He has performed in 47 of the 50 United States and has been seen on television in the soap opera Another World, All my Children and the Emmy Award winning show Homicide; Life on the Streets. During his acting career he played some of the greatest roles ever written including Hamlet in Hamlet, Romeo in Romeo and Juliet, Don Pedro in Much ado about Nothing and Edgar in King Lear. He holds a masters degree from The University of Arizona, a bachelors degree from Virginia Commonwealth University and a certificate of ”acting” from Oxford University in Great Britain. He has studied or worked with such accomplished actors as Alec Baldwin, Harrison Ford, Jeremy Irons, Rosemary Harris and Sir John Gielgud. In Mr. Rogers spare time he writes and directs films. His last film INVISIBLE MAN has been shown all over the world and he most recently was awarded the Telly Award for excellence in short film making.
