Come see this years Student- Directed One Act Festival!

This years’ One Acts include:

“Nobody Sleeps” written by Guernsey Le Pelley and directed by Emily Dwornik.
Spike, a burglar, breaks into the home of the Busby family. Little does he know
that Mrs. Busby is writing a mystery novel, and her daughters Daisy, Ava, and
Glory are more than willing to question Spike to get her some material!

“Deliver Us Not (or Birth, Where is Thy Sting?)” written by Lee Howard and Greg Gamble and directed by Kelly Strauch.
Trying to come to terms with their impending due-date, three fetuses sharing the
cramped space in a womb debate the possibilities of life-after-birth.

“The Happy Club” written by Jimmy Brunelle and directed by Christa Guh.
Two happy characters try to cheer up their mopey friend. They try everything
from dances to raps, but nothing helps. Who will get the last laugh?

“The Universal Language” written by David Ives and directed by Sydney Battle.
A man and a woman fall in love while communicating in the invented language
Unamunda.

Performances are February 17 at 7:30 pm and February 18 at 3 p.m
Come Saturday for a special performance of Centreville’s VHSL show “Chamber Music!”

In 1926, radium was a miracle cure, Madame Curie an international celebrity, and luminous watches the latest rage until the girls who painted them began to fall ill with a mysterious disease. Inspired by a true story, Radium Girls traces the efforts of Grace Fryer, a dial painter, as she fights for her day in court. Come see this exciting live performance of D.W. Gregory’s Radium Girls by Theatre Centreville. Showtimes are Friday April 20th, Saturday April 21st, Thursday April 26th, Friday April 27th, and Saturday April 28th at 7:30 p.m. General admission is $10 and tickets are available starting 45 minutes before each show and online here.
